So I somehow went from spending my spring break completely alone and mostly drunk in my apartment in Vancouver, so flying home, being with family, going out with friends and family and checking out a cool few bars, meeting an old fling I still had feelings for, going back to his place, staying up all night talking and really getting to know each other, to…well, I guess he went back to Red Deer, and I go back to Vancouver in a week. 

Where we go from here, neither of us are sure. While I’m a bit scared to say long-distance is an option, I honestly feel like I have not, and will not be interested in anyone else until me and this guy have had a real go at it, and seeing as I’ve been near permanently single for 2 years now, I see it as a possibility.

Mind you, this isn’t me just meeting up with a guy and BOOM INSTA-CRAZY. We dated for a month or so 4 years ago, and have been in contact every so often ever since. I always saw him as the one that got away, so this whole trip home has been definitely insane and surreal. 

For some reason, life has decided to be fantastic to me this week, and I am not complaining at all!
